For Christmas 2023, they collaborated with Magellan to create a luxurious 12-day advent calendar. This calendar is set to feature a collection of miniature alcohol bottles, offering a sense of opulence by revealing a different alcohol type each day.
The 12-day structure and the unique assortment of alcohols add to the calendar's exclusivity, aligning well with Guinness's prestigious image.
Magellan created 200 of the 12 day calendars, where the exterior is finished in a full-colour print, ensuring it is not only visually striking but also engaging.
It's further enhanced with a matte lamination and an unprinted anti-scuff layer for increased durability and a sophisticated finish. The calendar is constructed from rigid board, ensuring a sturdy structure.
Inside, the main body of the calendar measures 158x205x122 mm, providing ample space for the miniature alcohol bottles. Each drawer, measuring 120x50x50mm, is made from 3mm Greyboard and arranged in a convenient 4 x 3 configuration. Moreover, these drawers feature a die-cut and fold design, facilitating easy access and practical use.
Guinness, with the goal of distinguishing their 12-day advent calendar in the highly competitive draught production market, devoted attention to the selection of alcohols included. Thereby ensuring that each day of the calendar not only offers a delightful and varied surprise but also caters to a wide array of tastes, appealing to everyone.
The collection of miniature bottles features a diverse selection, including Smirnoff Original, Chase, Smirnoff Raspberry, Gordons Gin Original, Captain Morgan, Tanqueray Blackcurrant Royale, Johnnie Walker, Tanqueray London Dry Gin, Gordons Pink Gin, Tanqueray No. 10, and Baileys. As the grand finale of the selection, on the 12th day, the calendar reveals its most anticipated treat - a bottle of Guinness, the star of the entire collection.
